Greetings, History Enthusiast!We are thrilled to announce that the ACPS History Club of Adamjee Cantonment Public School, in collaboration with Universal Exploration (UE), has successfully launched the 1st National History Olympiad. Join us in this remarkable experience as we dive into the realm of history and knowledge.
The 1st National History Olympiad will feature ten engaging segments, each designed to challenge and inspire participants in different aspects of historical knowledge and creativity:
1. পৌরাণিক (Pauranik)
This segment focuses on the rich history of Bangladesh. Participants will tackle 20 questions within a 15-minute timeframe, testing their knowledge of national history. The quiz will be conducted online using Google Forms.
2. Global History Quiz
Delve into the history of other countries with this segment. Participants will answer 20 questions about global historical events and figures in 15 minutes. This quiz will also be conducted via Google Forms.
3. History-Based Content Writing
Participants are invited to showcase their writing skills by submitting historical essays or articles. Submissions will be evaluated based on writing quality and the accuracy of the presented data. Entries will be collected through a Google Form.
4. Time Quest
In this segment, participants will identify the correct year for various historical events from a set of multiple-choice questions. There will be 20 questions to answer in 15 minutes, all conducted on Google Forms.
5. History-Based Poster Designing
Creativity meets history in this segment. Participants will design posters inspired by historical themes and submit their creations via Google Forms. The top submissions will be selected based on their artistic and historical relevance.
6. Past Puzzle
Participants will read passages about historical events and use provided hints to guess the incident being described. Answers will be submitted through a Google Form, and those with the most accurate guesses will be recognized.
7. History-Based Presentation
For this segment, participants will create a slide-based presentation on a historical topic, convert it into a video format, and submit it. The presentations will be judged on their content, clarity, and creativity.
8. History-Based Book Quiz
This quiz will revolve around the historical content of "মূলধারা ৭১" by Moidul Hasan. Participants will answer questions about the book, showcasing their understanding and interpretation of its historical significance.
9. History-Based TV and Series Quiz
Participants will test their knowledge of history-based TV shows and series. The quiz will consist of 20 questions to be answered in 15 minutes, conducted via Google Forms.
10. Wall Magazine
Teams of up to three members from different institutions will compete by creating wall magazines on chosen historical themes. The competition will take place at ACPS, with judges selecting the champion and runner-up based on creativity and historical accuracy.
We are also recruiting campus ambassadors for our event. Ambassadors will help register participants using their respective references.
