To embrace the new year and our new academic lives, MGBS English Language Club presents '1st MGBSELC Intra English Festival 2025.' Through these engaging, educational, and fun activities on the day of the festival, we hope to establish our club motto: Evolution Through Language.We invite all Centralians to join us in empowering and inspiring the next generation of leaders. Together, let’s make the 1st MGBSELC Intra English Language Festival an unforgettable and impactful event for everyone!

1. Story Writing – (Grade 1 - 10)
2. Boggle – (Grade 1 - 10)
3. Poetic Voices - (Grade 1 - 10)
4. Tales & Trivia - (Grade 1 - 10)
5. English Olympiad – (Grade 6 - 10)
6. Language Quiz – (Grade 6 - 10)
7. BiVocab(Has Preliminary Selection) – (Grade 6 - 10)
8. Neuro Knots – (Grade 6 - 10)
9. Spell Battles - (Grade 6 - 10)
🔶 Segment Details –
• General Clarifications:
▫ The use of any digital devices is strictly prohibited in the exam hall.
▫ Any attempt to cheat or use unfair means will result in immediate expulsion from the examination.
▫ BiVocab will consist of 2 rounds.
▫ Additional rules and regulations will be shared in specific discussion posts for each solo segment.
▫ The top 2 or 3 performers from each category will be rewarded.
1. Story Writing (Grades 1 - 10)
Story writing is a competition where participants will be given free rein to write interesting stories. The top three participants will be announced as winners.
2. Boggle (Grades 1 - 10)
This segment is based on the Boggle Puzzle, where participants will be given a jumble of letters to form as many valid words out of them as possible. The top two participants will be announced as winners.
3. Poetic Voices (Grades 1 - 10)
This is a segment that entails the participants reciting and beautifying short poems within a limited amount of time. The poems will be announced soon in the discussion section of our event page. The top three participants will be announced as winners.
4. Tales & Trivia (Grades 1 - 10)
This is a quiz-based segment where the multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and short answer questions (SAQs) will come from stories provided by the organizers. The stories will be announced soon in the discussion section of our event page. The top three participants will be announced as winners.
5. English Olympiad (Grades 6 - 10)
The English Olympiad is a quiz-based competition where participants are required to complete multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and short answer questions (SAQs). The top three participants will be announced as winners.
6. Language Quiz (Grades 6 - 10)
The Language Quiz is a quiz-based competition where participants will have to answer multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and short answer questions (SAQs). The top three participants will be announced as winners.
7. BiVocab (Grades 6 - 10)
'BiVocab' is a unique segment consisting of two rounds. The first round includes a crossword-solving challenge wherein a certain number of participants will be eliminated from passing to the second round. The second round consists of a time-limited public speech on an assigned topic by each participant. The top three participants will be announced as winners.
8. Neuro Knots (Grades 6 - 10)
Neuro Knots is a segment based on Rebus Puzzles. Participants will be given puzzles to solve within a time limit, after which the best three will be announced as winners.
9. Spell Battles (Grades 6 - 10)
Spell Battles is a spelling competition where participants will be required to spell words accurately. This segment will be hosted by a special guest. The top three participants will be announced as winners.

▫ RULES AND REGULATIONS:
1. Every participant must be in uniform and wear their school ID cards.
2. Any kind of persecution and pestering or harassment will result in disqualification, and the participant will be escorted off the institution campus.
3. Visitors or guidance are not allowed inside the venue except during visiting hours.
4. Everyone is requested to cooperate.

2. Club Authority may decide to change any timings, details or take any administrative decisions at any time.
