Oakland artist MAYVN is an ecstatic dance DJ and wind instrumentalist, with globally focused sets laced with live clarinet and saxophone. MAYVN is Hebrew for ’one who listens’ and her sets are a shared experience.Mayvn DJed Envision Festival, Lightning in a Bottle, Electric Forest, Paradise Music Festival, Same Same but Different, and Unison Festival. Throughout the past 10 years she toured with electronic project Balkan Bump (Red Rocks Amphitheater, Coachella, Shambhala) , Cumbia heavyweights La Misa Negra (Bottlerock, Edmonton Folk Festival) and Balkan Brass Band, Inspector Gadje (Outside Lands).
Drawing from music conservatory training in ethnomusicology and performance, she melds rhythms and melodies from many cultural lineages. DJ sets include melodic downtempo, organic house, global bass, and desert beats.
Live winds are fully improvised and woven into the mixes, and are shaped by the room’s energy. MAYVN invites you to breathe, dance, and co-create magic, together.

The Ecstatic Dance musical journey starts slowly for stretching and gradually quickens - taking you on a rhythmic wave where you’ll dance hard and sweat, slowing down again, ending with a gong sound bath and short meditation.
Dance how you wish, move how you feel in a free-flowing, electronic music. All are respectfully welcome in this sacred space - leave alcohol, technology, verbal communication and shoes off the inside dance floor.
