Join us for our 1st club meeting of March as part of Tacoma Beer Week & our 1st Quarterly Challenge: Homebrew & Hot Dog Toppings pairing!Tristan will give a brief talk on extract AKA stovetop brewing before we get into our judging of homebrews and hot dog pairings.
Entrants will need to bring their homebrew in bottles or a growler and a hot dog topping in a servable dish no larger than 10" and checked into the Grand Hydrometer.
Vegan and non-vegan hot dogs will be provided along with buns and be cut into bite size pieces.
Participants will judge the homebrew and topping pairing by the following criteria: balance of flavors (how well the beer and topping complement each other), creativity/uniqueness of the pairing, overall enjoyment and then will vote for one favorite only.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd places will be awarded and the 1st Place topping will become the featured hot dog topping at Caskcades in Puyallup!
Please bring your friends and family as this event is open to all!
