Welcome to the 1st Annual SpeakEasy Swing Dance & Concert Event happening at the Wood River Moose on Fri Feb 21, 2025 starting at 5:00 PM! Get ready to swing and dance the night away with live music and a fun atmosphere. Join us for a night of great music, dancing, and good vibes. Don't miss out on this exciting event! It will be a night to remember! Step back in time and enjoy the music of the 20's, 30's,and 40's and even the 50's with the Granite City Swing Band featuring soloist Stephanie Nunes. A complimentary dance lesson is offered from 5:00PM-6:00PM. Come dressed in your Flapper dress for Cha-Cha or fine flowey threads: be ready for Speakeasy night in a period setting of Prohibition, where booze was hidden under dimmed lights and swing dancers. A special drink of the night from a cash bar awaits you: snacks from the day, a concert with friends or a dance with everyone! Vintage treasures for bidding. Sit or pose for your photo in an awesome antique car of the times. A vintage treasure trunk raffel, holding tresures from the past, scratch offs, a lovely vintage quilt, very fine spirits from the finest moonshine stills invite to take the chance to win it all!
