🎗️ 1st Annual SCREW CANCER WALK 🎗️Join us on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 5PM at The Backyard Kitchen in Poteet, Texas for our very first SCREW CANCER WALK.
This event was created from personal experience. After walking through months of chemo, treatments, and the emotional ups and downs that come with cancer — we felt called to turn pain into purpose.
This walk is about:
• Unity
• Fellowship
• Faith
• Encouragement
• Giving Back
We will gather at The Backyard Kitchen, walk together through Poteet in support of fighters, survivors, and loved ones, and then return to BYK for an evening filled with food, music, laughter, and community.

This is more than a walk it’s healing, testimony, and community in action.
🎓 Scholarship Fundraiser
All sponsorships and shirt sales from this event will go toward scholarships for students from Pleasanton, Jourdanton, and Poteet in honor of this walk.

• Bronze – $150
100% of proceeds go directly toward scholarships.
