Bit and Bridle Fitting: Understanding the Conversation Between Horse and Rider

Join the GHE Learning Center for the inaugural Annual Horsemanship Forum. This year's forum features Bit and Bridle Fitting: Understanding the Conversation Between Horse and Rider a two-day educational event designed to deepen understanding of bit and bridle fitting through the lens of anatomy, movement, and communication.

Led by Stephanie Brown-Beamer, LANTRA-certified and fully qualified bit and bridle fitter, this program combines structured instruction with live fitting demonstrations to help riders better understand how thoughtful equipment decisions influence comfort, clarity, and responsiveness.

Over two days, auditors will observe:

• 14 live bit and bridle fittings across disciplines
• Real-time explanation of the assessment process
• A 90-minute educational lecture focused on anatomy, biomechanics, and communication
• Moderated discussion and Q&A

Fittings take place throughout both days, allowing auditors to see how different horses respond to different considerations in real time.

The Friday program includes six fittings and a VIP evening session.
Saturday includes morning fittings, scholarship recognition, a 90-minute lecture, and afternoon fittings.

Auditor Tickets Include

Auditors may attend one or both days and are welcome to move between the arena and vendor areas during fitting sessions.

Tickets are good for either or both days.

Seating is first come, first served. Capacity is intentionally limited to preserve the educational environment.

Additional Ticket Options

VIP tickets: Four seat table arena side, fast pass access for check in, VIP meet and greet with Stephanie Friday Evening.

Fitting tickets include: A personal fitting with Stephanie (Auditors will observe), VIP meet and greet Friday evening, stall with shavings.
