Please join us for our First Annual Frontier Fest at Fort Martin Scott, where history truly comes alive! This action-packed 3-day event features the Regional U.S. Cavalry Competition, showcasing thrilling horsemanship and skill demonstrations, along with special appearances by the Texas Camel Corps and the Official Texas Longhorn Herd. Enjoy tasty food from local food trucks, explore interactive exhibits, and immerse yourself in living history demonstrations that transport you to the Texas frontier. And the best part? Admission is absolutely FREE!
We encourage guests to wear comfortable shoes to fully enjoy all the activities and experiences across the grounds. This family-friendly festival is one you won’t want to miss!

This year's Cavalry Competition will be remembering the 26th Cavalry PS
The competition will conclude at noon on Saturday, April 19th, but Frontier Fest will continue until 5 PM on the same day.
