Tournament Rules
1. Flip a coin for break. Do not let coins land on the pools tables while flipping. Cue ball on or behind the line.
2. When setting up the "rack", striped ball on one corner, solid ball on the other corner. 8 ball in the center. The rack should be tight.
3. If you make a striped ball on the break, you are stripes (and vice versa). It is not an open table. If you also scratch during that break, it is next players turn (ball in hand) but you are stripes, just as described.
4. No slop - call all your shots, including any combos, kisses and rails. If you don't tell us exactly what's going to happen, it's the next players turn even if you make the shot.
5. 8 ball cannot be used in any combination shots.
6. If the cue ball leaves the table (including on the break) that is a scratch. Next players turn. Ball in hand.
7. If you sink the 8 ball on the break, you win. However, if you also scratch, you lose the game.
8. If a ball leaves the table, that ball is spotted on the "foot spot" (round dot where the first ball was on when all the balls were racked). Loss of turn.
9. If the cue ball misses the balls on the break, or if you miss the object ball you have called, that is a scratch. Next players turn. Ball in hand.
10. When shooting at 8 ball, it must be clean, no kissing or combinations off another ball. You can bank it off a rail.
11. If shooting at the 8 ball and you do not hit it, game over.
12. If you scratch while shooting the 8 ball, you lose.
13. NO cheating, NO fighting, NO whining, and NO DRINKS ON THE TABLES
