About Safe Yoga Teacher Training You will receive. · Three different class formats · 30+ Yoga Postures · 170 Contact Hours with a certified Yoga Alliance 500 Hour Teacher · Proper alignment through biological anatomy · Yoga anatomy through Chakras, Koshas and Bhandas · Breathing techniques · Meditation tools · Business of Yoga and personal mission statement. · History and Philosophy of Yoga The mission of Safe Teacher Training program is to safely illuminate the path of the student’s life with the light of Yoga, allowing the student to shine their brightest while building a sense of union with a community of locals. We aim to make a positive difference in the lives of our students, so they can reach their highest potential through encouragement, challenging experiences, and support.
We are an intimate yoga method with a suggested limit of 13 students per class, which provides personal attention from the instructor and growth within the student. We aim to provide a safe, warm loving yoga experience through the environment and instructing the Total Engagement Concept. We hope to craft committed teachers that create relationships and safe, yet deep experiences for the enrichment of their students’ lives. We are dedicated to being the 'safest' Yoga. The Sun is a powerful metaphor for Yoga and the challenges we find on the mat. The sun expresses itself in many rays, yet, under it all, the sun is one. Just as we appear in many different forms and personalities on this planet and every day on our mat, yet underneath we are all one. Safe Yoga School is about expressing your unique individuality, creating experiences in a safe and loving environment. We start with our three-point method of instructing followed by cues coming from the students’ postures in an inclusive and kind way. This is done with the inclusive method of working with a group yet making each student feel as if you are directly addressing their own needs. In the teaching skills section, we will learn how our language and presentation directly influence our students’ experience. Just as a tour guide would do, we direct our group of yoga students on a journey for an hour. They are assured of their safety, and we communicate clearly in a kind and understanding way. The students are relaxed throughout the class and leave all their care outside the door of the classroom. Practicing yoga is a community experience led by a knowledgeable guide that makes them feel safe and relaxed.
Program Tuition and Policies The full tuition for the 200-Hour Safe Yoga Teacher Training is $2330 with full payment (saves you $200, credit cards accepted) before the first day of training and $2630 if payments are needed thereafter and there is a $350 non-refundable deposit required to register if payments are agreed upon. $50 off for regular 1Raw Yoga members Tuition and material fee includes: · 1. Unlimited Yoga classes for the training length · 2. All program modules including Anatomy of Yoga, Ayurveda, Meditation and Philosophy courses. · 3. Course Manual and Guide · 4. Private One on One Coaching from a 500 Hour ERYT Yoga Instructor · 5. Graduation Certificate 6. In person and virtual classes. Trainings will be three weekends out of the month excluded the first weekend of every month for 11 weeks. Thursdays 7-9 PM (Zoom), Saturdays 10-3PM (In person) and Sundays 9-2PM (In person). **Hours are subject to change. POLICIES Deposit: A $350 non-refundable deposit is required to register if payments are required; full payment saves $200 and must be received prior to the start of the program unless a payment plan has been established. Payment Plans: 1Raw Yoga offers payments plans. Payment plans must be established prior to the start of the program. The tuition must be paid in full prior to receiving the Teacher Training Certificate. Cancellation Policy: Refunds are not available, but the remaining balance can be transferred to a future Teacher Training Program.
