Camp Southern Ground is honored to be a beneficiary of the seventh annual 1LT Austin Shilling Memorial Golf Tournament.
18-hole, four-person scramble
Mulligans available for cash purchase at registration + contests throughout the course
Breakfast sandwiches, silent auction, cookout dinner, live music, and awards
Registration opens at 8:30 a.m.
Registration and warm-up continues 8:30-9:45 a.m.
Shotgun start at 10 a.m.
A cookout dinner and awards ceremony will follow at the close of play
A LIFE TO REMEMBER: The tournament was started by the Shilling family as a way to honor a beloved son, brother, friend and soldier. In addition to giving purpose and some healing, his family wanted to fund a memorial scholarship and donate to veterans suffering from PTSD and depression to make a difference for people like Austin.
This tournament is a way to celebrate his life, while also raising money for veterans and other young men and women just like him – people who dedicate their lives to protecting others. Austin not only loved golf and played in high school, but also worked for a few courses throughout his life, including Windermere Golf Club, where the tournament is held each year.
