Ormideia Cultural Club is pleased to announce the organization of the 19th Cultural Dance & Music Festival on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Ormideia’s Community Park, starting at 7:30 p.m. The dance groups of the Cultural Club of Ormidia, Kimon Xylotympou, and the Cultural Club of THOI Avgorou will participate in the festival.The programme will include live music by Angeliki Hatzivasileiou (vocals), Christos Isidorou (pithkiali/lute), Kyriakos Markoullis (lute/vocals), and Theofanis Theofanous (violin). The artists will take us on a musical journey through Cyprus, Asia Minor, and the Greek islands.
The festival will start with a parade of dance groups along the main street of Ormidia, ending at the Community Park. There, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy traditional Cypriot products, as well as songs, music, and dances from various regions of Hellenism, offering a unique cultural experience.
Guests will be welcomed with traditional Cypriot products.

The 19th Cultural Music and Dance Festival is under the auspices of the honorable Minister of the Interior, Mr. Konstantinos Ioannou.
The festival is one of the established events of the Ormidia Cultural Club, organized every summer as part of the club’s cultural activities, with the aim of spreading and preserving the cultural heritage and folk traditions of our country.
