The Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Erie County will host their 19th Annual Plant Sale on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wilson Picnic Grove on the Penn State Behrend campus. The event will be held rain or shine.This popular community event offers a wide assortment of plants, including herb and vegetable seedlings, perennials, native plants, shrubs, small trees, ornamental grasses, and annual bedding plants. More than 30 trained Master Gardener volunteers will be available to answer gardening questions and help visitors select plants best suited for their home landscapes’ unique light and moisture conditions.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early for the best selection of hundreds of locally grown plants, many of which come directly from the gardens of Erie County Master Gardeners. Proceeds from the sale support Master Gardener educational outreach programs throughout Erie County.
Penn State Extension Master Gardeners serve the community by offering hands-on training, demonstrations, seminars, and science-based gardening education for home gardeners, clubs, and community groups across Erie County.
