Registration opens on January 1, 2025.
Registration ends on Tuesday, September 23rd at 8:30pm.
There is NO SAME DAY registration, and the cutoff has been moved up to 5 days before the event.
There are 3 days you can get your bib. All at the Kenai Chamber of Commerce.

Bib Pickup and Speaker – 09/27/2025: TBD
Race Check-in & Bib Pickup – 09/28/2025: 7:00AM – 8:30AM
Welcome to the 2025 Kenai River Marathon!
RACE DAY: Sunday, September 28, 2025
Full Marathon, Half Marathon, & Relay Start: 9:00 AM – Kenai Visitor Center
5K Fun Run Start: 9:30 AM – Kenai Visitor Center
There is NO race day registration.
Race day bib pick-up will be available at the Kenai Visitor Center starting at 7:00 AM. Please note: bib pick-up is not available at the start line.
Packet Pickup & Feed
Saturday, September 27, 2025
Time: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Location: Kenai Visitor Center (11471 Kenai Spur Hwy)
The evening will include packet pickup, a pre-race course briefing at 5:00 PM, and a complimentary snacks for participants.
Course Details
The Kenai River Marathon course is well-marked with arrows and traffic cones. The route winds through the scenic Kenai area, including paved roads and wooded trails.
Community Impact
Proceeds from the Kenai River Marathon support local parks and recreation efforts in the Kenai area.
The Kenai River Marathon is organized by the Kenai Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center in partnership with the City of Kenai and many incredible community volunteers.
