Thirty years ago, five local bands from the Browns Bay / North Shore scene packed out gigs for five bucks a ticket. Raw energy. Original tunes. Proper parties.
We’re doing it again as a thirty year anniversary reunion.
Five bands. One big North Shore party.

Kids are welcome.
In fact we encourage it — bring them along so they can see what it was like.
Set times:
3:30pm – First band
4:30pm – Second band
5:30pm – Third band
6:30pm – Fourth band
7:30pm – Final band
DJ playing music from the 1990s between sets.
This is for everyone who grew up on the North Shore parties and rocking out to grunge and moshing at concerts like the Big Day Out. Reconnect with old mates from Long Bay College, Rangitoto College, Westlake Girls & Boys, Takapuna Grammar and Rosmini College.
Everyone is welcome.
Wear your Nirvana T-shirt and Doc boots. Bring the kids. Keep it respectful — old Big Day Out vibe. Phones in pockets. Just be present and have a good time.
Bring the old cars — classic and cool cars will get priority parking right outside the pub.
No big production. Just straight-up North Shore bands and a proper 90s North Shore party.
We’re bringing the old crew together — telling stories, catching up with good old friends, celebrating life, and remembering where we came from.
