We will gather to honor the 1988 Girls Basketball State Championship team for their historic run to a state title, celebrating a remarkable season and the athletes who achieved one of the highest honors in Laker athletics history. Their success remains a proud moment for the Laker community and a defining chapter in our athletic tradition.As part of the evening, we will also celebrate the life and coaching career of Coach Joe Beckmann, who devoted decades of his life to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School as a mentor and head coach. Through his leadership, discipline, and commitment to faith, sportsmanship, and community, Coach Beckmann shaped generations of student-athletes and left a legacy that extends far beyond the court. In recognition of his lifelong dedication, the basketball court will be formally named in his honor.
All alumni, former players, families, and members of the community are warmly invited to attend.
