It's that time of year again. It's time to start planning and getting ready for our Annual Christmas Parade! 18 years we've been having the Christmas Parade.
We welcome antique vehicles, bands, beauty queens, businesses, churches, clowns, clubs, dignitaries, emergency services, fire dept, floats, horses, law enforcement, local officials, motorcycles, other organizations, tractors, etc to participate.
Line up for parade participants will start at 12:15 pm at Christian Community Church located at 732 Nine Mile Road Richlands, NC 28574. The parade will end at Bethany Baptist Church located at 1077 Nine Mile Road Richlands, NC 28574.
We do ask that no one dress up as Santa Claus as he will be riding on a Fire Truck at the conclusion of the Parade.
Any erratic driving or actions will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave by law enforcement. All it takes is one little mishap that could seriously injury or K*ll someone. Safety is our number one concern.
If parade participants plan on tossing candy out, please throw it on the shoulder of the road, not on the road itself and DO NOT hit anyone with candy.
Come on out, bring your friends and family and be apart of our community's parade, either by participating in the parade or spectating.
As usual there is no entry fee to participate.
We're looking forward to seeing y'all, let's have a jolly good time and let's make this our biggest and best parade yet!
