18th Annual Nebraska State Fair Dexter Cattle Show

The Dexter Show at the Nebraska State Fair has been a Midwest venue for Dexter cattle since 2007. Dexter breeders from across the Midwest and Great Plains have made the trip to Grand Island to exhibit in a strong state fair setting, enjoy excellent facilities, and renew acquaintances around the cattle.
The tentative 2026 schedule is as follows:
Check-in begins August 31 and continues through September 1. Cattle must be in place by noon on September 1. The Dexter show is scheduled for September 3, with release immediately following the show.
This show is held in cooperation with the American Dexter Cattle Association. Additional entry details and official fair information will be added as they become available.
