1896 Classic Marathon Race Revival vol6

The 1896 Classic Marathon Race Revival is a street unsactioned fixed gear race that takes place along the Marathon route.

It is in celebration and memoriam of the epic bicycle race that took place during the first Modern Olympics held in Athens in 1896 and organized bi-annually (every two years) by 48:17 Athens.

It is open to all amateur cyclists of all levels.

• riding in traffic
• aprox 75klm
• helmets etc mandatory
• race at your own risk
• "race to participate and not win" ethos
• use of GPS app during race recomended
• podium, prizes, after-party
