W dniach 24–26 lipca 2026 odbędzie się ✨18. edycja Krakow Summer Animation Days ✨ Jak co roku spotkamy się wieczorową porą na Placu Wielkiej Armii Napoleona, z widokiem na Wawel, żeby oglądać najlepsze filmy animowane z Polski i całego świata.
W programie znajdziecie między innymi nominowany do Oscara film familijny „Mała Amelia”, kultowe anime „Angel's Egg” Mamoru Oshii oraz najciekawsze animacje krótkometrażowe ostatniego sezonu. Pokażemy filmy nagrodzone i wyróżnione podczas 32. Międzynarodowego Festiwalu Filmowego Etiuda&Anima, a także laureatów Nagród Stowarzyszenia Filmowców Polskich za rok 2025.💫
Przygotowaliśmy również pokaz specjalny „Architektki Wyobraźni”, prezentujący filmy młodych twórczyń wyróżnionych za świeże spojrzenie, oryginalność i techniczną biegłość.
Zaprosimy Was także do niezwykłych filmowych światów. Odwiedzimy surrealistyczne uniwersum Davida Lyncha i zajrzymy do „Bestiariusza” pełnego fascynujących, dziwnych i niepokojących animowanych opowieści.
Choć Krakow Summer Animation Days właśnie osiąga pełnoletność, nie zapomina o najmłodszych widzach. W programie znajdą się filmy i wydarzenia dla dzieci oraz rodzin.

From July 24–26, 2026, we invite you to the ✨18th edition of Krakow Summer Animation Days✨. As every year, we will gather after sunset at Plac Wielkiej Armii Napoleona, overlooking Wawel Castle, to enjoy some of the finest animated films from Poland and around the world.
The programme includes the Oscar-nominated family feature "Little Amélie", Mamoru Oshii’s cult anime "Angel's Egg", and some of the most exciting animated shorts of the past season. We will screen films awarded and honoured at the 32nd International Film Festival Etiuda&Anima, as well as winners of the 2025 Polish Filmmakers Association Awards. 💫
We have also prepared a special programme, "Architects of Imagination", showcasing films by emerging female artists recognised for their fresh perspectives, originality and technical excellence.
You will also be invited into extraordinary cinematic worlds. Together, we will explore the surreal universe of David Lynch and venture into the "Bestiary", a collection of fascinating, strange and unsettling animated tales.
Although Krakow Summer Animation Days has just reached adulthood, it has not forgotten its youngest audience members. The programme will also include films and events for children and families.
