About this Event
Join us for an inspiring evening celebrating the individuals, organizations, businesses, and community leaders making an extraordinary impact in the fight against human trafficking and modern-day exploitation.
Hosted by United Abolitionists, Inc. and the UCF Center for the Study of Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery (HTMS), the 17th Annual Polaris Star Awards recognize outstanding leadership, advocacy, innovation, collaboration, and service across the anti-human trafficking movement.
The evening will bring together survivor leaders, advocates, nonprofit organizations, law enforcement, researchers, educators, businesses, and community partners for a meaningful night of recognition, connection, and impact.
In addition to the awards ceremony, guests will enjoy a reception featuring two wine tastings, food and beverages, networking, and a silent auction supporting survivors of human trafficking.
Proceeds from the silent auction will help create life-changing educational opportunities and scholarships for survivors of human trafficking to study at the University of Central Florida, transforming recognition and awareness into tangible, long-term impact.

Parking, food, and beverages are included in the ticket, including a wine tasting during the reception.

UCF Employees and Florida Tax Exempt Institutions, please register by sending an email to: [email protected]. Non-UCF attendees seeking tax exemption will need to provide a copy of DR-14 Consumer's Certificate of Exemption. Do not register on Eventbrite.

Refund requests must be received at least 10 days before the event.
