This is a SINGLES-SCRATCH event (no handicap). Qualifying and Single Elimination, Two-game Matchplay Format. Certified by the United States Bowling Congress and USBC rules will prevailTo be held November 9-10, 2024 as a separate event with the 66th Lehigh Valley Masters tournament at Haja Rose Bowl. Bowlers may bowl in both the Lehigh Valley Masters and in the ‘Senior Division’. If a participant qualifies and remains alive in the 66th Lehigh Valley Masters, he will then be withdrawn from Matchplay in the ‘Senior Division’ and credited with a 9-16th place finish. Semi-Finals and Finals to be televised on Service Electric Cable TV prior to the Lehigh Valley Masters Championship Match.

Rules and Format
1. This will be an USBC certified event. All participants must present their USBC Cards at check-in for verification, if you are not a current member of the USBC you can purchase an affiliate membership or pay a participation fee. Affiliate fee will be $23 ($15 for national dues, $8 for local dues) Participation fee is $5 2. All competition in this event will be on a INDIVIDUAL-SCRATCH BASIS, NO HANDICAP will be given and is open to all USBC Certified members including WOMEN. This event is open to only those bowlers 55 years of age or older, proof upon check-in will be required. Participants will compete on a lane condition similar to the Lehigh Valley Masters Event. 3. Entry fee for this event is $50. $27-Prize Fund (returned 100%), $18-lineage, $5-tournament expenses. All mailed entries must be postmarked by November 2nd, 2024 to be included in the tournament. Electronic entries must be submitted by 11:59pm November 6th, 2024 to be included in the pre-entries, other wise that entry will be considered a walk-in amd be charged the walk-in fee. Walk-in entries will be accepted provided the field has not reached capacity, those entries need to be received by 1:15 PM on SATURDAY, November 9th, 2024. Those who enter the tournament as a walk in will be charged a $10 late fee. There will be NO RE-ENTRIES PERMITTED 4. All participants will bowl 4 games across 4 lanes on Saturday November 9th, 2024, at 1:30 PM. The squad is full at 80 bowlers with 2-3 on a lane. 5. After the first round of qualifying the top 16 bowlers will advance to Matchplay. If there are 72 or more participants, then the following will apply. The top 24 qualifiers from round 1 will bowl a 2 game semi-final round with total pins accumlating to determine the top 16 for matchplay. If there is a tie for the 16th position, a match of scorecards will be done with the bowler(s) having the highest game advancing. If there is a tie for the high game then the second high game will be used and so on until the tie is broken. If for any reason one of the top 16 bowlers does not appear for matchplay or needs to withdraw based on still being alive in the 63nd Lehigh Valley Masters, they will then be credited with 9th-16th position. 6. Matchplay or 2-game semi-final qualifying will begin on Saturday November 9th, 2024 at 4 PM. The 16 bowlers advancing from Qualifying will be paired into brackets for matchplay. Matches will consist of 2 games and the winner will be declared by total pins for those 2 games. If there is tie after 2 games a 9th and 10th frame roll-off will be conducted with the bowler who finished on the left lane starting off with his 9th frame on that lane, and the opposing bowler then bowling his 9th and 10th frame. This will continue until the tie is broken. Winners will advance to face other winners from the bracket and bowl on predetermined lanes, losers will be eliminated. 7. The Semi Finals and Championship Match will be consist of the 4 remaining players from the bracket following the same 2 game total pins format, and will be conducted at 1:30 pm November 10th, 2023 on Service Electric Cable TV, in the event of a conflict for SECTV, the finals will be conducted as written just without tv coverage, prior to the Championship match of the Lehigh Valley Masters. 8. All prizes will be paid upon completion of the event, and mailed to the winners. Prizes will be paid on a minimum of at least 1 in 6 entries or better. Special award given to highest qualifier age 70 and above
Matchplay Scenarios
72 or more entries, 24 players advance to an additional 2 game semi-final with pins carrying over, after 6 games top 16 advance to matchplay. 71 or less entries, 16 players advance directly to matchplay with upto 24 players cashing
