Joey Delgado's contributions to the music world extend far beyond his impressive accolades. His dynamic blend of blues, Latin soul, roots rock, and Americana has captivated audiences around the globe. As a cornerstone of The Delgado Brothers Band, Joey has produced, composed, and performed on all of their last four studio albums, each one a testament to his versatility and passion for music. In addition to his work with the band, Joey is embarking on two highly anticipated solo projects. The first is a heartfelt collaboration with the late Dennis Walker, featuring eleven songs co-written by the Grammy-winning producer and Joey himself. This project promises to be a poignant tribute, showcasing the talents of renowned musicians like Tony Braunagel on drums, Michael Thompson on keys, Travis Carlton on bass, Kid Ramos Guitar and Kim Wilson on Harmonica.
The second solo endeavor is an acoustic collection of songs written by The Delgado Brothers, arranged and performed by Joey. This project will highlight Joey's storytelling prowess and unique guitar skills, offering listeners an intimate glimpse into his artistry. Whether performing solo or with the band, Joey Delgado's music connects deeply with listeners, evoking a wide range of emotions and leaving a lasting impression. About :
Mike Hammar and The Nails is a contemporary blues band from Central California. The band is made up of, frontman, Mike Hammar on guitar and vocals, Sparky Gehres on bass guitar, harmonica guru Mike "The Professor" Boykin, Allan "B3 Blues" Carroll on the Hammond organ (tours with us seasonally), and Greg Merino on the drums. They have performed their style of blues since 2001. Accolades for this veteran crew include being 2026 Semi-finalists at the International Blues Challenge hosted by the Blues Foundation in Memphis, TN, winning the Monterey Bay Battle of the Blues Bands, two-time winners of the Modesto Area Music Awards for Best Jazz/Blues Band, Independent Music Awards Nominee, and Native American Music Awards Nominee. The band has three original albums to their credit, “Going Home” 2004, “Recipe for the Blues" 2010, and “Raised in The Dirt” 2024. Their original music has been featured on Sirius XM BB King Bluesville, college radio, American roots/blues music radio in Europe and is currently available on all popular music streaming platforms. Mike Hammar wrote and produced all of the albums. The songs are story-based, reflective, and humorous. For the past 24 years this band has enjoyed performing at blues/music festivals, community concerts, fairs, and clubs statewide and regional, US. They have opened for ,or shared the bill with, some of the biggest names in the blues over the two decades. Their music and performances are best described as eclectic, energetic, heartfelt, upbeat, and original, blues with a wide variety of influences. "First Come, First Serve” Policy
Purchasing an Eventbrite ticket guarantees entry to event in case of a sell out. In advance does not guarantee parking, seating or express entry to any live music event at Swabbies. More than one band per day may/will be playing, tickets will be specific for band and times.
We advise early arrival for best seating and service times during possible sold-out events/standing room, etc. Expected food and service times during peak can be up to an hour. Again early arrival is suggested.
Refund Policy
Swabbies event tickets purchased at Eventbrite are non-refundable, with the following exceptions:
- Event cancelled due to weather: In the event of weather-related cancellation, Swabbies will EITHER refund the full purchase price and the service fee paid on the purchase, OR if the event is rescheduled for a later date, tickets will be honored at that time.
- Event cancelled due to Artist cancellation: In the event of an Artist-related cancellation due to illness or other unforeseen emergency, Swabbies will EITHER refund full ticket price and the service fee paid on purchase OR if the event is rescheduled for a later date, tickets will be honored at that time.
NO REFUNDS unless show is canceled.
