About this Event

Timothy Gay, known in the music community as "Timmy G," has become a staple in the Sacramento music community, performing with a wide range of Black American Music groups. Known for his work with the ensemble Urban Cr3ationZ, he has appeared at many of the city’s premier venues, including Torch Club, Flamingo House, Shady Lady Saloon, and 58 Degrees and Holding. An alto saxophonist with a versatile voice, Timothy has performed with many ensembles across his many stops such as the jazz group Rare Standard in Detroit, the horn funk band Tha Exchange in Reno, as well as contemporary projects like the Magic Toor Bus. Don’t miss the chance to experience one of his most personal performances yet—an evening that promises to be among the most compelling in Sacramento’s jazz scene.
