Join us for a beach volleyball bash all weekend long in Lido Key Beach. This is more than a beach volleyball tournament, this is an all out event for the community, high level beach volleyball and more importantly Fundraiser for Stroke awareness.
This year marks the 16th Anniversary of the Ranse Classic, and we’ve taken the event up a notch. The roots of it remain the same: celebrating the memory of Ranse & the game he loved, while raising money for an incredible cause.
Proceeds support the Ranse Jones Stroke Awareness Fund at Broward Health North, which advances community stroke education, awareness, treatment, and support.

As we step into a new era, celebrating the 2nd year on Lido Key Beach. With the support of the city and incredible companies, we are proud to take a legacy event to the next level.

Friday Night Nov. 6th— Players & Fans Welcome Blind Draw Party
📍 Friday, November 6 | 7PM
Kick off the weekend with our tournament Players & Fans Welcome party. The Grab-Bag Draw happens during this volleyball community gathering—we’ll draw Queen & King of The Beach pool assignments to ensure every pool has a balanced mix of skill level & divisions.
Expect socializing, prizes, and good vibes to set the tone for Saturday.

Ranse Classic Grab Bag KOB/QOB
Format: Men’s & Women’s 2 vs.2, King-of-the-Beach (KOB), Queen-of-the-Beach (QOB)
Divisions: Open, AAA, AA, A

The Ranse Classic Grab Bag continues for its 16th anniversary. This tournament takes place on the anniversary of Ranse’s passing, and we’ll keep his memory alive by playing his favorite game, enjoying a day in the sand, and raising money for a great cause.
How a Grab Bag works:
Players are placed into pools of 4 players (1 from each division: A, AA, AAA, Open)
Pool Play: KOB style, rotating partners
Match Format: 1 game to 21 points, win by 2, cap at 25
Advancement: Top 2 players per pool pair up for Gold playoffs, Single Elmination. The other 2 Athlete Non-advancers will be given the opportunity to participate in another Grab bag, random pull Silver Bracket Playoff, single elimination.
Did we mention you might end up in a pool with a top 25 AVP pro or an Olympian?
Awards & Payouts: Wilson OPTX Balls, swag, & credit
🏆 Winners’ names added to the Hunter Cup Trophy

The grab hat is a solo sign up event.
Select Men's or Women's under your division.

Join Sunday for Competitive Co-Ed 4 v 4 tournament on Sunday, November 8th. Two Levels- Pro & Rec.
Team Requirement: Teams must include at least 1 woman Athlete on the court during play.
Divisions:
Open/Pro Level: 💰 BIG MONEY – Cash Prizes
Rec/Intermediate Level: Prizes, swag, & bragging rights
