Notre Dame College, Dhaka | Dhaka, DA
As 2026 draws near, we find ourselves at a turning point in Earth's story. The threads that bind every living creature feel more visible than ever. Climate shifts, vanishing habitats, and rising pollution remind us that the planet we lean on has limits. Nature has long carried us, fed us, sheltered us, shaped our lives in ways we barely notice. Now we stand face to face with the weight of our choices, and the responsibility to mend what's breaking, and to know what is required to know.
At a time when the world's natural rhythms grow increasingly fragile, the Notre Dame Nature Study Club (NDNSC) continues to stand at the forefront of environmental awareness and action in Bangladesh. As we step into a new year of responsibility and reflection, we are proud to announce the 16th National Nature Summit, to be held on January 24th and 25th, 2026.
This year, we gather under a theme that calls us back to our roots as caretakers of the planet: "Know Nature, Save Nature". It is a reminder that protection begins with understanding, that every forest, river, coastline, and creature demands not only our admiration, but our attention; not just our love, but our joint action.
Join us as we gather under one sky to celebrate the Earth we share. Over two days, the campus will come alive with stories, conversations, and ideas designed to spark wonder and stir responsibility. You'll dive into the challenges shaping our planet's future, discover bold and creative solutions, and meet the people who are daring to imagine a greener tomorrow. You'll learn, reflect, question, and connect, with thinkers, with peers, and with the living world itself.
We invite you to step into this experience not just as a participant, but as a voice that matters. Together, let's shape a future rooted in knowledge, compassion, and action. The Earth is calling—are you willing to answer?
