This year's event will be held at Homestead Gardens in Smyrna, DE, and will feature family-friendly activities, music, games, food, and more! Mark Brinsky, General Manager of Homestead Gardens Smyrna, shared why the walk means so much to him and the Homestead Gardens Smyrna family. “While Delaware is a small state, we know it is critical to spread the word about the importance of getting checked and to help survivors navigate this disease. The employees from Homestead Gardens feel that the Monster Mile Walk for a Cause on the grounds of Homestead Gardens in Smyrna, Delaware, allows everyone to put aside their daily Saturday schedule and gather as families, neighbors, co-workers, friends, and survivors to help support this cause to defeat breast cancer.”
All proceeds from the 2025 Monster Mile for a Cause benefit DBCC’s programs that increase breast cancer awareness, promote the importance of early detection, provide access to mammograms, and provide support and resources to men and women in our local community who are newly diagnosed or facing recurrence of breast cancer.
Walk in honor or memory of someone in your life who has been impacted by breast cancer. Participants are invited to be creative with team names and attire—wear PINK!
