16th Annual Crozet 5K, 10K and Family Fun Run

The course starts in Crozet Park and continues on the Crozet trail to the east of the Park (rustic trail, so plenty of roots, rocks, and ruts), and finishes back at Crozet Park.
All runners get a race t-shirt. Course map is posted on crozettrailscrew.org
There will be prizes for overall male and female: first, second and third (first place male and female get a bridge named in their honor!)
***From scratch Pancake breakfast included this year!
There is limited 10K Trail Race! It will loop by Lickinghole basin. It will cross Lickinghole creek (you might get your feet wet) we're currently fundraising for a 50 foot bridge to connect the trails here. The race goes out by Chesterfield Land and back.
The Family Fun Run will start in Crozet Park and go by the dog park. After the bridge it will turn left on a recent extension of trail(~.75-mile) and back to the park. Kids under 7 years old can participate in the Family fun run for free if they are accompanied by a registered participant.
*** POST RACE TRAILS FEST from 11am - 1pm at the finish. Live music (Susie and the Pistols), Starr Hill beer. All of the proceeds will go to Crozet Trails Crew.
In person registration takes place at Claudius Crozet Park on Saturday, October 24th starting at 9:00am.There will also be packet Pick-up Thursday, Oct 22rd, before the race at Starr hill 6:30- 830pm. IF YOU WANT TO SWITCH RACES please come to Thursday packet pickup to let us know.
