Dear Friends of Casket Cinema,
Ride your bike into our 18th season finale as we shoot the 16mm Trailer Explosion out of the cinematic cannon. It is a special outdoor screening on Thursday, June 18th at 9pm in the parking lot of the Casket Arts Building. The finale will feature the Best of Mark Har’s Drive in Movie trailers. All projected on 16mm. Har will sprinkle in some new trailers like; Werewolves on Wheels and the X rated- Fritz the Cat. Special guests for the evening will be Film curator Mark Har. He will discuss his collection afterward with Casket Cinema co-founder and the Mark Wojahn.
What: Casket Cinema will project the 16mm Trailer Explosion outdoors! In case of rain, the film will play indoors in Studio 145. Ride your bike and bring your own lawn chair or blanket.
When: Thursday, June 18th, Film at 9pm or dusk.
Where: Casket Cinema is located in the art studio of Mark Wojahn. The cinema is in the old Northwestern Casket Building, 681 17th Ave NE #145, Minneapolis, MN 55413, (612) 581-3178.
Special guests for the evening will be Film curator Mark Har. He will discuss his trailer collection afterward with Casket Cinema co-founder and the Mark Wojahn.
Cost: Donation of $10-20 will go to pay the curator.
Please bring friends and BYOB. Admission is usually by donation unless noted.
We are a micro/studio-cinema dedicated to showing the best in independent films and documentaries. After each screening we delve into the subject with a Q& A with special guests and/or filmmakers.
