The 15th Annual Oak Bay Xmas Cup (OBXC) hockey tournament will take place at the Oak BayRecreation Centre on Friday December 26th, 2025.
We are excited to be welcoming back sixty-four players
of mixed skill levels to compete for the chance to hoist the Xmas Cup. The mini-tournament includes two
games and a family skate by donation. This is a fun event for players of all skill levels their families and friends.
Each year the funds raised benefit a charity or cause that has affected the participants, families and
friends of the tournament. Every year, 100% of the money raised through tournament fees, raffle ticket
sales and silent auction is provided directly to the selected cause.
To date the tournament has raised over $174,000 with the support of local businesses like yours.
This year’s beneficiary: KidSport Greater Victoria
KidSport Greater Victoria has been at work in this community for 25 years, supporting local families in
financial need to ensure their kids aren’t left on the sidelines as a result of financial barriers. In that time,
the organization has reached over 18,000 kids living and playing throughout the CRD with over
$5,000,000 in season of sport registration fees covered. These days, they are seeing more need than
ever, with over 1,500 local kids each year accessing the benefits of organized sport through KidSport
