Don’t miss the 15th annual family-friendly Laurel Christmas tradition! The show includes a performance by The Joe Cool Trio – John Milham (drums), Chris Spies (piano), and Chris Severin (bass) - guest Clarence Johnson - all performing Vince Guaraldi’s Masterpiece Soundtrack, A Charlie Brown Christmas.
This year’s show will feature the musical gifts of singer Ansley Stewart!
ECHOING THE HALLS OF 1960S SOUL SINGERS WITH THE MOST POWERFUL GOSPEL DEPTH, COMBINED WITH THE ATHENS, GA COLLEGE RADIO WAVES OF THE 1990S, COMES AN ECLECTIC, THOUGHTFUL, AND PASSIONATE VOICE THAT IS ANSLEY STEWART.
Forever the extrovert, Stewart is most comfortable on stage performing live. Her voice has been said to create life out of thin air (a phenomenon scientists have yet to explain). She emanates her own genre-blending sound that is undeniable upon first listen.
Her original music is written from a place of exploration, trust, and just having some damn fun.
Stewart has become a fixture of the Atlanta music scene and has a reputation as one of the most versatile vocalists in town. In addition to pursuing her original music, she is a sought-after session vocalist, guest performer for national touring bands, a prominent member of the ATL Collective family, and dabbles in film and television.
Proceeds of the Show will benfit The Laurel/Jones County Animal Rescue League who is a Nonprofit organization dedicated to the welfare of homeless, abandoned, neglected animals in Jones County Mississippi.
