Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and Seattle University School of Law offer this workshop to encourage and assist interested individuals to pursue deanships and other university and law school leadership positions. The workshop will help participants: determine whether to pursue a deanship and the right time; understand the nuts and bolts of the dean's role; prepare to be a successful candidate; learn how to negotiate appointment terms and ensure a successful transition; and determine what other forms of university and law school leadership roles may be a good fit.

Lodging information:

All workshop sessions will take place at the Inn at Villanova. Update: The Inn at Villanova is now sold out for our group. We have secured another room block at The Radnor Hotel (located less than 2 miles away from the Inn at Villanova). The Radnor Hotel room block is available until Thursday, August 20, so please make sure to secure your room soon.

We will provide transportation from Radnor Hotel to the Inn at Villanova on Friday morning and Saturday morning, as well as return transportation at the end of the workshop on Friday. Transportation to/from Villanova University is also provided for the workshop dinner on Friday evening.
