About this Event

Join us for the 13th Annual Earth Day Celebration hosted by Global Paint for Charity, Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful, and Gwinnett County Solid Waste Division & Partners at Gwinnett Place Mall,2100 Pleasant Hill Rd, Duluth, GA 30096, on Saturday, April 18th, from 9 am – 12 pm. Drop off hard-to-recycle items such as paint (Latex and Oil Paint), Electronics, and tires, with paper shredding services also available.

This event is open to all Gwinnett County residents and serves as the world’s largest and oldest recycling event, consistently attracting 3000-5,000 attendees and partner organizations. With a goal to recycle over 6000 gallons of paint in just three hours, your participation will directly contribute to our free paint donation programs worldwide, helping change lives and beautify the world, one gallon at a time.

Before attending, please note the following guidelines:

Oil-based and Latex paint will be accepted, limited to 10 gallons per vehicle (Cans must contain 25% wet paint). Ensure lids are sealed tightly.
Electronics (monitor, TV, and printer) are accepted.
Paper shredding is available for up to 5 copier boxes.
Tires are limited to eight per vehicle; no dealer tires.
For safety purposes, all attendees must remain in their vehicles at all times, and recycled items should be placed in disposable containers or boxes.
Additionally, volunteers are needed to assist with event setup, vehicle unloading, and paint donation processing. Volunteers must commit to a minimum of 5 hours and will receive Earth Day T-shirts, PPE, masks, gloves, and safety vests. Register for volunteer opportunities at Volunteer – Global Paint for Charity or https://www.globalpaints.org/volunteer/.

Celebrate Earth Day 2026 by taking action to protect our planet and support sustainable practices. Together, we can make a difference and create a brighter, cleaner future for generations to come.
