Welcome to the 14th Annual South Florida Transgender Medical Consortium!

We are thrilled to have you join us at the Newman Alumni Center for two days of learning, community-building, and collaboration. This year’s theme, “Generations in Transition: Aging, Resilience, and Pride Across the Lifespan,” invites us to explore the diverse experiences of transgender and gender non-conforming individuals, focusing on the unique healthcare challenges and opportunities at every stage of life.

Whether you are a medical professional, researcher, advocate, or a member of the transgender community, this event has been thoughtfully designed to bring together those passionate about improving transgender healthcare and supporting the well-being of LGBTQI+ individuals. We’re here to learn, share, and empower each other.

Throughout the event, you’ll find informative sessions, networking opportunities, and engaging discussions. Presentations will be led by dedicated health professionals, behavioral health specialists, and allied experts committed to serving transgender and gender non-conforming communities. In addition, we are offering up-to-date information for healthcare practitioners, licensed professionals, nursing students, and community providers.

We are pleased to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors, and Marriage and Family Therapists. This is a wonderful opportunity to earn professional development credits while engaging in vital discussions about transgender healthcare.
