Plant and Seed Exchange -Get Ready!
Winter is a good time to get ready for the upcoming Plant and Seed Exchange that will be held at Shy Acre Farm on Sunday, March 23rd, from 10-3.
Things you can do well in advance are to plan on planting extra seeds in pots to bring along to share or make labels that give a little information about the seed you will be bringing like variety, height, seed life or whatever you think is relevant. And you can start packaging seeds.
If you have not come to the Plant and Seed Exchange in the past all plants, seeds, divisions, tubers, bulbs, are freely given. There is no buying, selling or bartering although a cash donation is requested to help support this community event.
