That's because the screaming hasn't begun yet. But just you wait, horror film enthusiasts — for at the very moment you're reading this, film teams in our region are mixing fake blood, digging fake (we hope) graves, and murdering their friends from behind a lens, under the gentle evening light of a waning summer.
Can you picture it? Well, there's no need to imagine it for much longer!
The 14th Annual Northwest Nightmares Film Festival Premiere will take place at the Welden Theatre in St. Albans, VT on Monday, October 26th at 6:30pm. Brave attendees and film creators alike will get to see original, local-made horror films premiere on the big screen. Afterward, walk on over to The Depot at 50 Kingman St. for the afterparty and award ceremony, where spooky, unique prizes will be given to films that our panel of judges determined to be exceptionally fright-tastic!
We will also be bringing back the costume contest this year as well. Dress in your most creative, scary, or just plain weird costume, for a chance to win a cash prize!
