Transition Framingham is hosting our 14th annual Framingham Vegetable Gardens Tour on Saturday, August 23rd, from 9:00 AM to 12:45 PM. Join us for a free tour of several home and community gardens to get inspiration, ideas, and advice from local gardeners. This year’s route will feature gardens in west and south Framingham.Register:
* Advance sign-up encouraged at https://fundrazr.com/52X3Qb
* Suggested $10 donation per tour ticket is greatly appreciated, but not required, to register
* Donations will support Transition Framingham and the Framingham Community Gardens Working Group’s work to advance opportunities for more people to grow food in Framingham
Timing:
* 9:00 AM - Meet at Diane’s house, 18 Gryzboska Circle, to arrange carpooling - please park along odd numbered side of road
* 9:15 AM - 12:30 PM - Tour 5 gardens in west and south Framingham via carpool
* 12:45 PM - Carpool returns to Gryzboska Circle
Details:
* This is a rain or shine event - only severe weather will cause cancellation
* Bathrooms will be available at one stop along the tour route
* Please bring a reusable water bottle and snacks, and wear appropriate clothing and footwear
