Get ready for an electrifying day of fun, community, and STEM excitement!
About this Event

Join us for the 14th Annual DC Electric Vehicle Grand Prix, where high school teams from DC, Maryland, Virginia, and Italy, bring their creativity and engineering skills to the track. These students have spent months building their own electric race cars, and now they're gearing up for race day on a purpose-built course at RFK Stadium Lot 8.

This free, family- friendly, event runs 9:00 AM–4:00 PM and takes place alongside DC Department of Public Works’ Truck Touch, making it the perfect weekend adventure for kids, parents, and curious minds of all ages.

Spend the morning getting up close with the student built vehicles, watching teams pass technical inspections, and cheering them on during practice laps.

Then stick around for the official race, ceremonies, and plenty of hands-on excitement.

Whether you're a STEM enthusiast, a racing fan, or just looking for a fun day out in the District, you won't want to miss it!
