Ed Daniel was the beloved owner of the popular Daniel Donuts stores in Huber Heights and Fairborn. Beyond his business, Ed was an avid classic car collector, a devoted Cincinnati Reds fan, and, above all, a dedicated family man. After a courageous five year battle with mantle cell lymphoma, Ed passed away in July 2013.
To honor Ed's memory and fulfill his wish to encourage blood donation, his wife, Tina, and their daughters, Abby Love and Ashley Daniel-Phillips, established the first Ed Daniel Memorial Blood Drive in August 2013. Their goal was to help ensure a lifesaving blood supply for cancer patients and others in need of blood products. Since its inception, the annual blood drive has become a lasting tribute to Ed's legacy of generosity, compassion, and commitment to helping others.
