The 14th Annual Taste of Africa Festival returns to Downtown Livermore on Saturday, October 3, 2026, and it’s completely free!
A full day of live music, traditional and contemporary dance, cultural performances, delicious food, artisan vendors, and spaces built for connection across generations. This is a celebration of Africa and her Diaspora in all her beauty, creativity, and joy.
In the Moving Together Dance Studio, master teaching artists from across the African Diaspora lead free outdoor dance classes all day long. Beginners, seasoned dancers, elders, and children are all welcome. Come move with us.
The Kids Zone brings together storytellers, hands-on cultural activities, and imagination-centered experiences designed for children, caregivers, and elders to connect through play and tradition.
