The 140th edition of the World Film Manifestation Program (WFMP), organized by the Dhaka University Film Society since 2000, is back to pull you into the raw, unvarnished truths of life. This time, DUFS continues the partnership with the British Council Bangladesh to present ‘British Social Realism’, an immersive journey into stories rooted in working-class struggles, personal resilience, and the unflinching realities of everyday life. From post-war Britain to the turbulent present, these films reflect the grit, humanity, and unspoken poetry that define social realism.
Join us on 18–19 August 2025 at the British Council Bangladesh for this edition of WFMP, featuring four compelling British social realist films that challenge, question, and inspire.
