13th Urban Sketchers Symposium - Poznan 2025

What is the Symposium?

The International Urban Sketching Symposium is an annual educational event organized by Urban Sketchers (USk), a nonprofit dedicated to fostering the practice of on-location observational sketching. The goal of the Symposium is to celebrate and practice the art of on-location sketching in the host city. The event offers valuable field-sketching instruction and opportunities for participants to network and socialize.

Following our spirit of “sharing the world, one drawing at a time,” we aim to bring the Symposium to new cities and countries every year. Portland, Lisbon, Santo Domingo, Barcelona, Paraty, Singapore, Manchester, Chicago, Porto, Amsterdam, Auckland and Bunos Aires have hosted previous editions of the Symposium.

Important Symposium Pass Release Schedule 15 March 2025:

• WP-4 (4 workshops) and Sketch Passes are on sale from noon/12.00 CET
• WP-3 (3 workshops) are on sale from 12.30 CET
• WP-2 (2 workshops) are on sale from 13.00 CET
• WP-1 (1 workshop) are on sale from 13.30 CET

Workshop Pass

You can choose from four Workshop Pass options, allowing you 1, 2, 3, or 4 workshops lead by top international instructors.

• WP-4 (4 workshops)
• WP-3 (3 workshops)
• WP-2 (2 workshops)
• WP-1 (1 workshop)

The Workshop Pass includes access to

• The opening & closing receptions
• 1, 2, 3, or 4 workshops
• For WP-4 holders: Participation in the Big Crit
• 1 Activity or Demo
• Lectures: Available on a first come-first served basis until lecture space meets capacity
• All Sketchwalks depending on the compatibility with selected Workshops, Activity or Demo

Sketch Pass

The Sketch Pass includes access to

• The opening & closing receptions
• 1 Activity or Demo
• Lectures: Available on a first come-first served basis until lecture space meets capacity

Workshop Pass:

• WP-4 (4 workshops) USD 550 + USD 38.73 Ticket Fee
• WP-3 (3 workshops) USD 450 + USD 32.02 Ticket Fee
• WP-2 (2 workshops)USD 350 + USD 25.32 Ticket Fee
• WP-1 (1 workshop) USD 250 + USD 18.61 Ticket Fee

Sketch Pass: USD 160 + USD 12.67 Ticket Fee

15 March 2025: Registration opens noon /12.00 hrs CET. Check your local time

• Cancellation and Refunds end (Refund policies apply see below)

Refunds

Please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite - the USk Symposium team will recieve the notification and can process it according to the refund Terms and conditions below.

Due to the need to finalize facilities, supplies, and programming, Urban Sketchers reserves the right to apply a $85 (USD) cancellation fee for all refunds.

• Refunds requested 90+ days prior to the event will receive a full refund minus the cancellation fee. (Refunds requested by or before May 20, 11:59 pm CET.)

• Refunds requested 90-61 days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund minus the cancellation fee. (Refunds requested by or before 11:59 pm CET, June 20 2025)

No refunds will be offered within 60 days of the event (After 11:59pm CET, June 20, 2025)
