13 Years! Come join us for another great year! Get your team together and Meat in the Creek to determine this year's Grand Champion.
- $60 entry fee; Sign-up forms will be available at the Post Clubroom beginning April 1st.
- This is a charcoal and wood fire competition. No electric, propane, or pellet-fed grills or smokers are allowed.
- Each team provides their own meat, to include: chicken, pork, brisket & ribs. Plus, coming back - Side Dish (main ingredient can not be meat/ and either the main ingredient or the entire dish must be smoked).
- Ribbons awarded to top 3 in each Category. Trophies for the Grand Champion & Reserve Champion. Grand Champion also gets free entry to next year's contest.
Friday Night, May 8th we'll have a Meat & Greet party so competitors can get their spots in the lot and meet each other. BBQ dinners (ribs & pulledpork) will be served; $15 a plate.
Saturday, May 9th- Competition Day; each cut of meat will be turned in 1 hour apart, beginning at 11:00 am (Details will be given when you sign up). Awards Ceremony will begin at approximately 4:00 pm
- JUDGES NEEDED! Must be available to participate from 10 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 9th. Judges may not be related to or affiliated with any members of competing teams. Post and Auxiliary members are not eligible to be judges. Please message us with your name to confirm availability .
BBQ dinner will be served Saturday afternoon also.
