The Stewards of the Sierra National Forest Inc sole mission is to unite the many people who enjoy the diverse recreation activities available in the Sierra National Forest, promoting responsible recreation and use of forest resources, through conservation and education, and ensuring public access to the forest in the present and for future generations.
We are a group of strictly volunteers who continue to support the cause because we all have a deep love for outdoor recreation and believe dearly in doing all we can to provide access to current and future generations to continue to recreate on public lands. To that end, we maintain and clear local trails here in the Sierra National Forest along with rallying to keep those trails open for all the public to use.
Our annual fundraiser is coming up and this fundraiser helps to keep us in business to continue the efforts to be able to fulfill the mission we are so deeply devoted to.
To see some of the hard work we do strictly on a volunteer basis please visit our Facebook at Stewards of the Sierra National Forest.
To register for our 13th Annual BBQ Fundraiser Membership Drive and Dual Sport/Adventure Bike Ride please go to www.sotsnf.org or scan the QR code in the picture above.
For those who wish to take the optional Self-Guided Adventure Bike and Dual Sport tour through the local area- GPS TRACKS (Garmin bring your cable) will be available and will consist of great trails, scenic back roads, and highways throughout the area. We have some of the most experienced riders in the area working on amazing routes for you all to follow with optional hard way splits for the more experienced riders.
A suggested donation of $165.00 for pre-registered riders and $180.00 the day of the event is appreciated. Camping will be available for a small fee of 10.00 per night Thur-Sun night.
Don't miss all the fun! We know you love this sport and want to protect public access to it as much as we do. Thus, we cannot wait to see you all there!
Feel free to watch this video by our very own Stephen Hanchett to see what the riders had to say about the ride last year!
