2024 was a tragic for Minnesota Law Enforcement Officers. We lost six heroes last year including a firefighter/paramedic who was actively trying to save the lives of officers.
This year's event will be played in honor of Burnsville Officer Paul Elmstrand, Burnsville Officer Matthew Ruge and Burnsville Firefighter/Paramedic Adam Finseth who all were tragically killed in the line of duty on February 18th, 2024 along with Minneapolis Officer Jamal Mitchell, killed in the line of duty on May 30th, 2024, National Park Service Ranger Kevin Grossheim, killed in the line of duty on October 6th, 2024 and Red Lake Nation Tribal Officer Jesse Branch, killed in the line of duty on November 27th, 2024.
All proceeds from the tourney will go to Minnesota Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors - COPS to continue to help the families of our fallen heroes.
We will be playing again at Burnsville High School on Saturday April 19th, 2025. Concession, raffles and lots of competitive basketball played by Law Enforcement Officer's from across the State of Minnesota will be showcased.
This event is open to the public and is great family event!
