13th Annual NYE 5-Peaks AdventureTue, Dec 31st 6am
Following in the Dirt Devils tradition, and in collaboration with San Diego Trail Runners and South Bay YMCA Trail Runners, and Ultrabuds, come join us for the 13th Annual New Years Eve MTRP 5 Peaks Party!
With close to 20 miles and 5,000 feet of climbing, this route is no joke. Hope you like hills!
This year we will meet at Big Rock Park 8125 Arlette St, Santee, Ca 92071. There is also parking at the pin attached. Parking is better at this location, and we can hang at city park after.
Be ready for a 6am start! This is as "fat-ass" style run so that means bring your own water and supplies! It's going to be chilly so dress in layers and be prepared to get wet and muddy...there's going to be at least one water crossing! (Pro tip - bring poles if you have 'em...they will really help with the creek crossing!)
The plan is to take group photos at each summit, knock out all 5 peaks, and then meet back at the start/finish to celebrate our accomplishment and kick off NYE with a bang. BYOB & BYOC (Bring your own booze & chairs). Looking forward to another epic 5 Peaks Adventure and hope to see you all there!
