Rogue is serious about the holidays (as demonstrated by Zac, Francesca, Natasha, Mary Beth, and Julie). Why? Be-claus it gifts us a reason to elfin' celebrate! JOIN US for the last CLOW (class + show) and PARTY of the year on Monday, December 15th! Don't miss a night of high-quality community and low-quality sweaters! Here's how it all will sno- I mean- go down...
The evening will begin at 6pm with an Artist Roundtable! Reflect on 2025 and make goals for 2026. Then at 7pm we'll have an Improv 301 class with the theme of WARM taught by Rogue Leader Michael Sielaff!
After class, we shift to a show featuring Rogue improv duos The Accidentals, D&D, Kings, Future Ancestors, & More! Next up we'll have an an ArCHUCKdo (aka an Armando jam!)! Between sets, we will hold the 12th Annual Ugly Sweater Competition. Winners get a prize and are immortalized in next year's Ugly Christmas Sweater advertisement (see above)!
After the show and competition, we hope you have an appetite, because we'll have FOOD (pizza, Chinese, Mexican...we'll try for all 3!) for meat-eaters and vegetarians. If we need to get any vegan options, please let us know. Bring drinks and snacks!
After/during a food break, we'll have our always-a-hoot White Elephant Gift Exchange ($20 limit...if you bring a gag gift ALSO bring a desirable one :). Last, but not least, we'll play group games and hangout for those who wanna keep the party going! Let's break our previous Ugly Christmas Sweater Party record of 4am!

December Theme: WARM. December is chock-full of holidays- most of which encourage a warm and fuzzy family-forward season of comfort and coziness. How can we bring this feeling into our improv, storytelling, and artivism? Let's be a warm and welcoming presence in our improv scenes as a character, but more importantly, as a performer! It's about support, agreement, posivitty. Go [Christmas] ham with it as we see how warmth can help our improv thrive.

December's Challenge: Now, this may seem contradictory to our theme this month, but it really doesn't have to...GO ROGUE by ditching the fluff this holiday season and aim to truly connect with the people around you. Fluff (i.e. Christmas music & movies, social media scrolling, and even reminiscing) has the ability to make us feel warm and comforted...for a moment. But that's fluff. It's short term satisfaction. Put the screens and memories away temporarily and CONNECT with friends or family in the PRESENT. Make NEW memories and allow for DEEPER connections. The challenge is to drop the stuff that makes us feel "good" for a moment and replace it with the people who potentially can make us feel great throughout our lifetime (once they're gone, they're gone). I know family can be tough this time of year, but don't take the bait and distance yourself! Maybe you need to have a difficult conversation or two. Do it in the name of connection! If they put up a wall, be honest with them, take a deep breath, and find another way to relate. Don't give up on someone because of their or your own stubbornness. Pump yourself up (maybe briefly with some fluff :), put up boundaries if needed, and go into this holiday season with positivity, hope, and love to connect with those who are in-person and around you. Embracing genuine warmth this December (and beyond!) is all about seeing the best in yourself and others. You got this!
