Hi all,
As the season has been completed or winding down for many of our clubs, I want to let you know that we will be doing a 12th Annual St. Louis Cup at Forest Park on Saturday, July 25th. If there is any interest in doing the Cardinals game the night before on Friday, July 24th, just let me know. Cardinals are playing Cincinnati Reds that night.
This is an official invite to all teams that would like to come. Please let me know if you are planning on participating so we can plan accordingly. We play 1860 rules with no stealing. We have four to five grass fields that we play on. Each team has the choice of playing two or three games and each game goes for one hour and fifteen minutes. Most games will easily get seven innings in. Forest Park in St. Louis is family friendly park with world class Zoo, Art Museum, History Museum, and Science Center this is free admission.
You can see map and last year's schedule on our website at http://www.stlbrownstockings.com and click on the link marked St. Louis Cup.
