Join us for the 12th Annual Mental Health Conference: The Many Faces of Mental Health, where we will explore the diverse and evolving dimensions of mental health and well-being. This in-person event will take place on Thursday, May 21, 2026, beginning at 8:00 AM (Central Time).
Hosted at the Prairie State College Barnes & Noble Conference Center, the conference will bring together mental health professionals, service providers, researchers, educators, and community advocates who are committed to strengthening mental health awareness and care. As our society continues to experience significant changes and challenges, understanding and applying mental health best practices has become more important now than ever.
Through engaging presentations, interactive workshops, and thoughtful discussions, participants will examine the many factors that influence mental health across communities. Topics will include understanding a range of mental health conditions, promoting mental wellness, reducing stigma, and exploring innovative strategies for treatment, prevention, and support.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from experienced practitioners and subject matter experts, exchange ideas with colleagues in the field, and build meaningful professional connections. Whether you are a mental health professional, student, service provider, or someone passionate about supporting mental well-being, this conference offers a valuable platform for learning and collaboration.

12th Annual Mental Health Conference: The Many Faces of Mental Health

Prairie State College invites mental health professionals, practitioners, educators, and community leaders to submit proposals to present at the 12th Annual Mental Health Conference: The Many Faces of Mental Health, taking place on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the Prairie State College Barnes & Noble Conference Center.
As communities continue to experience significant changes and challenges, sharing effective mental health strategies and best practices is more important now than ever. We welcome presentations that highlight innovative approaches, research, community-based strategies, and practical tools that support mental health awareness, prevention, treatment, and recovery.
Presentation sessions should be 50 to 60 minutes in length. Please note that no honorarium will be provided for presenters; however, presenters will receive complimentary marketing and promotional exposure through conference materials and event communications.
In addition to the presentation proposal, individuals interested in presenting should also submit a professional headshot, a brief biographical sketch, and an organizational logo (if applicable) for promotional purposes.
Proposal submissions are due by May 1, 2026 and should be emailed to [email protected].
