📅 Saturday, November 14th, 2026, 6 PM - 11 PM
📍 Sterling Event Center, next to St. Barbara's Church
🏠 4042 Turkeyfoot Rd., Independence, KY 41018
Purpose: "Establish a fun-filled evening for the City of Independence to honor and recognize its Veterans, key Citizens, and impactful Businesses through a "formal" dinner and dance celebration/ceremony."
The plan is to have a Veterans Day focused Dinner and Dance on 14 Nov 2026 that will incorporate many of the aspects of a Military Formal Dining Out (the fun associated with the event), but to also provide the opportunity to recognize a Distinguished Veteran, Citizen, Police, Fire, Business and a Legacy award to who have gone above and beyond for the local community and its veterans.
This year's theme is honoring America's 250th birthday.
In detail, the activities of the event will include a dinner, award ceremony and dancing.
